in a tragic turn of events, a scholar hailing from Bengal, named Forid, has met an untimely demise by suicide in Kota, marking the 28th such case this year. Forid, a resident of West Bengal, had chosen to reside in Kota's Waqf Nagar area while diligently preparing for the NEET, a nationwide examination for entrance into medical education courses.

The heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Rajasthan's Kota, a city renowned as a prominent coaching hub for competitive exams, attracting students from all corners of the country. Forid was discovered hanging in his room last evening, as confirmed by the local police. Urgently rushed to a nearby hospital, medical professionals declared him deceased. Fellow students, cohabiting in the rented premises where Forid stayed, informed the police that they last saw him around 4 pm. Concern arose when he failed to emerge from his quarters by 7 pm, and unanswered calls prompted them to raise an alarm, leading the landlord to contact the police.

Despite extensive investigations, no suicide note has been discovered, leaving authorities perplexed. The family of the deceased has been notified. Forid had been a resident of Kota since the previous year, according to police reports.

This distressing incident in Kota has reignited conversations about the mental well-being of students and the overwhelming stress pushing them to the brink. In a proactive attempt to address this concerning trend, the state government implemented guidelines for coaching centers last year, urging measures to ensure a stress-free environment for students.
